Brand new, fully assembled, calibrated and tested Chord Organ Eurorack module. Designed by Music Thing Modular and built by Monolith Modular using PCBs and aluminium panel from Thonk plus self-sourced components as per the designer's specification with a choice of knob colours* and a green button (other colours available but would require a custom build so please contact before ordering). Assembled by an experienced synth builder using lead-free solder. A SanDisk 32GB microSDHC Card and SD card adapter are included. The Teensy comes loaded with the latest Chord Organ Firmware with 12 Waveforms enabled and if you ever need to update it or want to try different Firmware like Radio Music for example you will need a Micro-B USB cable (Kindle charge cable). The USB power to the Teensy has been left in tact which means you can power the module to update the Firmware via the USB cable without the need for Eurorack power but it must not be powered from both as it could damage the Teensy, this can be cut if you would prefer but the n the module would need Eurorack power to be updated. An optional mod has been carried out to stop the sound distorting over time, as recommended by Tom Whitwell of Music Thing Modular.

Designer's Description

It’s perfectly possible to create chords on a modular synth, but it’s a pain — lots of tuning and messing about. I wanted to create something as simple as a home organ with chord buttons. Chord Organ is exactly that; the top knob chooses a chord shape, the bottom a root note.

Chord Organ and Radio Music are identical modules; you can convert one to the other by installing new firmware over USB and go back just as easily.
